Missions: Local and Global
As Christians, we're called to share the good news of Jesus with others, "baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," (Matthew 28:19b). We're to "make disciples of all nations," and that's what we long to do.
We desire to reach our local community, and one of the ways we do this is through our Storehouse Ministries. Click here to learn more about Storehouse and how we want to serve Teller County.
"All nations" includes the United States, so we support many missionaries right here in the U.S. We have missionaries who work with students on campus, people who are planting churches, men and women working with the Navigators to train and support missionaries, and several involved in counseling and refreshing missionaries who have come back from the field or are on furlough. There is a great need for the Gospel right here in our country.
Foreign missions is a priority for us. We have missionaries to Kazakhstan, Namibia, Nepal, and Costa Rica. We support missionaries living in some countries, and organize annual short-term missions trips to assist their work. We want to take part in the spreading of the Gospel to all parts of the earth.
